If water is leaking through existing masonry or you need to protect new construction, DRYLOK Oil Base Masonry Waterproofer is very effective in stopping water. Unlike ordinary paint that simply adheres to a surface and can be forced off by incoming water pressure, DRYLOK Oil Base Masonry Waterproofer actually penetrates the pores in the surface, bonding to the masonry and creating an impenetrable barrier. Guaranteed to stop water withstands 10 pounds of hydrostatic pressure (PSI), equivalent to a wall of water 22 feet high. Fully transferable 10 Year Warranty. 2 Ready-mixed flat finish colors (white is tintable).
Non-pigmented waterproofer formulated for floor and wall surfaces is easy to clean and leaves a non-yellowing finish. Perfect for waterproofing interior and exterior concrete floors, poured concrete walls, split-faced block, concrete and cinder block, stone, brick, stucco, and pre-cast decorative items. Tested in accordance to requirements of ASTM D-7088 (American Society for Testing and Materials) Resistance to Hydrostatic Pressure at 4 psi (pounds per square inch) and ASTM D-6904 Resistance to Wind Driven Rain of 98 mph.
Formulated for waterproofing all interior, exterior, above or below grade masonry walls, cinder and concrete blocks, stucco, brick, retaining walls, basements, swimming pools, bird baths, fish ponds, and foundations. Stops water under pressure up to 10 P.S.I. per sq. in. That's greater than a column of water 22' high. Chalky (efflorescence) deposits must be removed by etching the surface. Alkali-resistant and may be applied on slightly damp surfaces below ground, but best results are obtained on dry surfaces. Low odor formulation is VOC/VOS compliant and cleans up with soap and water.
